Barhead Solutions launch Microsoft Cloud fundraising solution for Australian not-for-profits

IT consultancy Barhead Solutions announced the launch a new fundraising solution with localized features geared to not-for-profit organizations in Australia. The solution was officially launched in February at the FIA Conference, a large gathering of fundraisers in Australia.
The Barhead Fundraising Solution (BFS) is a new Microsoft Cloud-based standardized deployment. Barhead built BFS on the Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofits, including Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing and Power Platform.
BFS offers features targeted toward the needs of Australian not-for-profits in stakeholder engagement, Australian payment services, managed giving solutions, campaign and income management, and data integrations and governance while incorporating the native communication and engagement functionality of Microsoft, according to Barhead.
"In conversations with colleagues in the NFP sector, we often hear about gaps in the capabilities of standard cloud solutions," said Amanda Stenson, Barhead's head of not-for-profit, in a statement. "Many of the gaps create a barrier to entry due to the high cost of implementation and ongoing maintenance due to customizations."
Barhead developed the BFS to address these capability gaps, she noted.
"With the BFS, Microsoft and Barhead aim to support NFPs, who are at a critical juncture in a changing industry landscape, and ensure the beneficiaries they serve get the support they need," Stenson stated.
