The Microsoft Business Applications team has published its latest product planning guidance in the form of the 2022 release wave 2 plan documents for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. The changes relate to preview and production features Microsoft plans to push to its cloud services between October 2022 and March 2023, with early access in non-production environments starting on August 1.

As usual the plans are both broad and deep, representing over 500 printed pages in PDF format.

Power Platform services will get a range of governance and security improvements, such as DLP for big data scenarios and better visibility of user activity for admins. DLP updates are coming to both Power BI and to Power Virtual Agents, where And AI Builder will see improvements in “model ops” to control the testing, deployment, and roll back of models.
