Tracking D365 marketing form submissions in Google Analytics
Writing on her MVW Consulting blog, Megan Walker noted that her post was important for users of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing who want to use Google Analytics to track their goals and know exactly how many form submissions they've had for each form.
Walker said that seems easy enough, but it is anything but easy if you want to use the same form or the same "thank you" page. She stated that the only way you can track is if you have a different thank you page for each form you embed in your website.
Well, so I thought for a long time, until I started digging in to Google Tag Manager more and more. I’ve now got the steps to set all of this up in GTM that will help you track this no matter which way you are using D365 Marketing Forms.
In her blog post, Walker includes several scenarios with one or multiple marketing forms and thank you pages.
