How to Add Power BI Dashboards to Your Dynamics GP Homepage

The author of a post on the Tidestone Solutions Dynamics GP blog explained how to connect your Microsoft Dynamics GP environment to Power BI, to enable users to add their favorite reports to their GP home pages.

To do that, you first must be sure that:

  • You have access to Power BI and at least one Power BI report is available
  • You can log in to the Power BI site and view a Power BI report
  • You're creating your own Power BI reports and visual
  • You're using the Dynamics GP 2016 desktop client not the web client

Once you've added your Power BI reports to your GP homepage, you can scroll through your reports, expand your window size, and click on your reports to open them in the Power BI web browser.
