Microsoft Expects Dynamics 365 Launch Will Set Stage for CRM Community Dialog at CRMUG Summit 2016

Microsoft plans to launch Dynamics 365, its new business applications lineup, in the fourth quarter of 2016. While the basic packaging approach to Dynamics 365 is now fairly well understood, the public unveiling on October 11, which coincides with the start of user group Summit events, is expected to reveal a range of key details like pricing, the new SMB sales and marketing apps, and the plans for transitioning existing Dynamics AX and CRM customers to the new plans.

For Dynamics CRM users, the kickoff event, followed by the full CRMUG Summit, offers an opportunity to learn how Dynamics 365 will impact both Dynamics CRM Online and on-premise customers.

Microsoft executive vice president for the Cloud and Enterprise (C+E) division, Scott Guthrie, will present the Dynamics 365 vision "all up", according to Angela Bandlow, senior director of product marketing for the Dynamics team. She has led Dynamics CRM product marketing in the past but is now focused on Dynamics 365 and its October launch.

Bandlow spoke with MSDynamicsWorld.com about the launch event around CRMUG Summit. She explained that this event signifies a new stage in the evolution of Dynamics business applications:
