Carl's Jr. and Hardee's Restaurants Choose Ignify eCommerce to Power New Online Self-Service Portal

Ignify, a global provider of e-commerce and ERP and CRM solutions has announced that CKE Restaurants Inc., the parent company of Carl's Jr., Hardee's Restaurants and HED, Inc., have chosen Ignify eCommerce to power a new online business-to-business portal that gives restaurant owners a fully-automated ordering process for the sale of restaurant supplies and kitchen equipment.

"A self-service portal that offers individual restaurants full control over day-to-day supplies and merchandise based on immediate need is a compelling way for food chains to stay ahead of the curve," said Phil Parks, director of HED, in a statement. "Ignify eCommerce gives restaurant owners the latest in interactive shopping and purchase order processing while seamlessly integrating into key back office systems such as ERP, CRM and shipping."

The Ignify eCommerce platform integrates with Dynamics ERP to automate order processing to create a "zero touch" order fulfillment environment, according to the company. That means CKE restaurant owners can now eliminate manual order entry, view and track orders, easily place orders from purchase history and view and pay invoices online, according to company officials.
