AXUG Focus: A Deeper Dive into BI for Microsoft Dynamics AX with Fullscope's Nigel Murdoch

Nigel MurdochNigel Murdoch is a technical solution architect at Edgewater Fullscope, and a "frequent flyer" at AXUG events. He'll present four Deep Dive sessions on Microsoft Dynamics AX at June's AXUG Focus 2016 event in the BI & Reporting and Performance Tuning tracks.

Murdoch is usually on the road for client engagements but he has been an active presenter at the AXUG Summit and AXUG Focus events and has done numerous webinars for online communities like AXUG and MSDynamicsWorld. So, he enjoys sharing his expertise both in person and online.

His first exposure to Dynamics AX was with version 4 as both an end-user and a consultant. He recalls that "In 2007, I was working for a customer implementing Dynamics AX, moving from a green-screen MAPICS ERP onto Dynamics AX." Since then he has accumulated extensive experience working with the Microsoft SQL Server stack as both an administrator and a developer. His focus has been the development and implementation of Dynamics AX system interfaces, designing effective BI solutions and performance tuning of the SQL database and AX application.

Murdoch will speak in three BI and Reporting track sessions at AXUG Focus, geared toward roles needing to understand analytics and reporting, including Business Analyst, Business Process Manager, CEO, CFO, CIO, and more. He described in detail the four topics on which he'll present.
