Salesfusion acquires marketing automation vendor LoopFuse
Marketing automation software vendor Salesfusion has acquired LoopFuse, a marketing automation vendor based in Atlanta. The news comes two weeks after Salesfusion announced it raised $8.25 million in a Series B financing round, a move with the stated goal of expanding both through acquisition and organically.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Salesfusion plans incorporate LoopFuse technology into their existing offering in the areas of social functionality and predictive analytics, according to CMO Kevin Miller. The CEO and CTO of LoopFuse will be joining Salesfusion as part of the move, according to an announcement.
The acquisition is aimed at increasing Salesfusion's midmarket presence in a field that has seen active consolidation over the last few years. The company expects to more than triple sales, revenue, and customers by the end of the year. LoopFuse bring Salesfusion hundreds of new small and midsize customers, as well as divisions of larger enterprises.
LoopFuse took a Series A funding round in 2009 from venture capital firm True Ventures. Their main CRM integration effort has been in the Salesforce.com realm. They are Saleforce AppExchance partner but also say they can integrate to other CRM solutions. Salesfusion sells heavily into both the Dynamics CRM and Salesforce markets, as well as Sage CRM, SalesLogix, and Sugar CRM.
