Amid Financial Woes, CDC Software Sells Off c360 to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Vets

As CDC Software deals with its financial troubles, rumors and theories have swirled around the possibility of the company's ERP and CRM offerings related to Microsoft Dynamics getting attacked by competitors or sold off.  Now comes news that CDC Software's c360 software line, acquired in 2006 for its line of Dynamics CRM add-ons, has been sold to a group formerly with Client Profiles, which was itself sold in 2011 to legal software maker Aderant.

The new company will be known as c360 Solutions and will be run by CEO Whit McIsaac, as well as Dave Hutchinson, former President & CEO of Client Profiles, and Gary Mills.  c360 Solutions is a separate venture from Client Profiles and Aderant.

In a statement, Whit McIsaac said, "We are very excited to bring c360 under our management...The new approach with the business will focus on complementing the c360 products with a full set of Dynamics CRM professional services to provide one of the very few full-service partners in the marketplace."

c360's history goes back to several other veterans of the Dynamics CRM ecosystem who sold the business to CDC Software in 2006 and have each since moved on to other ventures: Jeremie Desautels of Core Motives, along with Arvind Raman of ExactTarget and John Gravely of ClickDimensions (Ed: ClickDimensions and ExactTarget no longer have the relationship that was described in this older article).
