ISVs Build Out Complex Distribution, Manufacturing Solutions for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Microsoft Dynamics AX ISVs offer solutions for an amazing range of needs, some very specific and limited, others expansive. In the worlds of complex manufacturing and distribution, Dynamics AX can compete well on its own sometimes but often lacks the list of features required to win deals against its major competitors. Two new offerings and that are on their way to the market and previewed at Convergence 2013 aim to close those upper market gaps:  Cincom Total for advanced enterprise-scale manufacturing and I.B.I.S.'s Advanced Distribution Software.

As a software maker, Cincom is a veteran of complex manufacturing and product configuration solutions for the enterprise with deep experience in aerospace and defense (A&D) and manufacturing with a two-decade relationship with Microsoft.  They were approached by Microsoft to join the Global ISV program in November 2011 due to their depth of industry expertise, as well as their expertise in project-based manufacturing and product configuration. They were recognized publicly by Microsoft for this initiative at Convergence 2012.
