PowerObjects Maintains Focus Amid High Growth in 2012, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partner Award

In Microsoft's annual partner awards, PowerObjects took home the 2012 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partner of the Year award.  Founded in 2007, the company has been growing quickly over the last two years, with more expected expansion expected this year. 

With just 100 employees, the Minneapolis-based company is not the largest Dynamics CRM partner, but that doesn't stop them from winning deals across an array of account sizes, according to chief operating officer Jim Sheehan, including victories against the global system integrators at the upper end of the market and the smaller regional players in the central US. 

We talked to Sheehan to learn more about PowerObjects - their approach, their business, and what they are seeing in the CRM marketplace.

To what do you attribute your CRM partner award win over other well respected finalists?

Jim Sheehan PowerObjectsYou never know 100 percent why they pick companies for these awards but we're one of the fastest growing firms.  We're one of two CRM-only partners in the Inner Circle in the US, which is based on a revenue goal.  And I think we're doing a lot of things right. Microsoft appreciates that we are delivering a bunch of successes in upper and lower part of market with different strategies.  Not only are we doing some of the biggest deals, we're also cranking out the velocity deals.  We had about 120 new customer adds this year.
