2025 Microsoft Business Applications Partner Marketing Insights Report

The Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem is evolving, with ISVs, VARs, and customers adapting to a more competitive, buyer-driven landscape. To better understand how these groups are navigating partnerships, AppSource visibility, enablement, and decision-making in 2025, MSDW surveyed 213 stakeholders and compiled the results into this report. 

Building on seven years of research, this year’s survey focuses on how service providers collaborate with ISVs and how customers view and depend on those relationships. Most respondents were involved with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, with strong interest in Copilot Studio, and held roles such as CEO, CxO, project manager, IT leader, or consultant.
