Workforce management software vendor ZeroChaos Buys Loki Management System

Carlyle Group company ZeroChaos, a provider of workforce management solutions, has acquired Canadian Microsoft partner Loki Management Systems, a developer of workforce management software. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in British Columbia, Loki provides software under the Advanced Payroll for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the StaffRight brand. Loki has more than 200 active clients in 17 countries with a total of over 210,000 employees across a range of industries, including healthcare, public sector, hospitality, construction, manufacturing and retail, according to company officials.

Loki's current CEO, Richard Swann, will join the leadership team at ZeroChaos and continue to head up Loki.

ZeroChaos CEO Michael Werblun stated that Loki is a strong software platform that offers functionality that meshes well with its existing ZCWeb technology.

Recently, Microsoft announced its ISV Development Center program that opens a conduit between Microsoft development teams and channel partners. The Loki payroll solution for Dynamics 365 was an early adopter of this program to accelerate its readiness for Microsoft AppSource.

In May 2016, LOKI Systems completed its first sale of Advanced Payroll AX for Microsoft Dynamics AX on the Azure cloud to Westbrook Floral, a Canadian floral wholesaler with 450 employees. And in February of that year, Loki announced the accreditation of its Global Payroll module for Microsoft Dynamics AX 7 (now Dynamics 365 for Operations).
