Visionary Software Consulting Inc. has released its CRM Rules! add-on utility making it easier to customize the rules related to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 forms without writing code. CRM Rules! works with Dynamics CRM 2011 in the cloud or on-premise.

The new solution lets users define business rules and specific events (like OnLoad of a form or OnChange of a field) using existing CRM forms and with the company's.  The rules are configured semantically and CRM Rules! generates and deploys the JavaScript code into CRM. The solution lives in your database as a managed solution and lets you use your CRM Field Names to define your business logic in a CRM rule, according to the company.

Visionary Software positions the new tool for use by ISVs to save develompent time and for VARs preparing tailored demos to prospects.

Unveiled at the Microsoft Dynamics CRM User Group meeting in November, CRM Rules is now generally available.

CRM Rules! is not the first tool aimed at simplifying the work of CRM customization. Last year, ICORA, a Microsoft Dynamics ISV that operates under the umbrella of Lincoln, Nebraska-based venture capital fund Nebraska Global, released Mako XRM, a more full-featured visual customizer for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.

Mako XRM also streamlines the process of customizing Dynamics CRM with a unique visual interface for managing many of the typical XRM configuration and customization points, with the goal of helping partners streamline the implementation process, according to ICORA President Allison Jensen.
