Many Microsoft partners unveiled new product releases and updates to coincide with Convergence 2010 held in Atlanta from April 24-27.  We reviewed some announcements earlier in the week as well.  Here's a look at some more recent items:

Visual Mining, veteran provider of BI dashboard and data visualization solutions, launched its NetCharts Performance Dashboards (NCPD) solution for Microsoft Dynamics.  According to VP Mark Brandau, the NCPD solution is targeted first at GP and geared for the small to mid market. NCPD differentiates itself in the BI market, Brandau said, by enabling better end user control of data with the ability to drill down to the transaction level for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders and other key data.  It also easily integrates multiple data sources into a single dashboard view.

CCH, makers of sales and use tax solutions, announced a new version of their CorpSystem Sales Tax Office at Convergence.  The new version that manages customer exemptions certificate information within the system, as well as web services to integrate to certificate management systems.  The new release also includes improved backend compliance features such as EDI e-filing capabilities for handling monthly or quarterly sales tax returns online.

Additional enhancements include a combined rate in the look-up function; support for location-based filling requirements; enhanced sourcing algorithm; and the elimination of the 3000 line item per invoice limit on web service transactions.

Phocas, which has been selling a business intelligence tool in the ERP market for the past decade, announced it is making the application available to Microsoft Dynamics re-sellers in the U.S.
