Veeam Software announced the general availability of Backup for Microsoft Azure. The cloud backup and recovery solution is intended to expand backup controls for companies that use IaaS but are still tasked with managing their own data.

Veeam has launched its offering in free and paid versions, deployable from Azure Marketplace. The free version provides backup for up to 10 Azure VMs while the paid version integrates with Veeam Backup and Replication.
