UXC Eclipse Acquires WineDirect’s Dynamics NAV Business

UXC Eclipse LLC, the North American arm of UXC Eclipse, announced it has acquired the Dynamics NAV business of WineDirect, which provides technology to enable wineries to sell more wine directly to consumers.

"Their investment will bring our wine industry solution to the next level - taking our customers and our people on that journey with them."

This acquisition expands UXC Eclipse's wine industry base, which already includes the ERP solution, VinPoint, which is built on Dynamics NAV and used throughout the Asia Pacific region.

The combined solution from UXC Eclipse and WineDirect will keep the VinPoint branding and "be complemented by modules for vineyard management, winemaking, warehouse management and manufacturing." The UXC Eclipse VinPoint solution is available on premise and in the cloud.

Acquiring WineDirect's Dynamics NAV business will increase UXC Eclipse's profile in the industry and improve the company's presence in North America and Asia Pacific, Stroop said. "It gives customers direct access to a larger Dynamics team with a depth of industry knowledge and a broad skill set," Stroop said.

"Both UXC Eclipse and WineDirect are known for their wine industry ERP leadership within their geographical regions," said Bradley Stroop, CEO, UXC Eclipse, in the statement.

UXC Eclipse will integrate the WineDirect ERP team into its existing professional services infrastructure, officials said.
