U.S. consulting firm Boyer & Associates expands into Canada

U.S.-based Microsoft partner Boyer & Associates has launched a Canadian branch in Toronto, dubbed Boyer Technologies Canada Inc. This new branch will operate under the U.S. company and focus on building a team in Canada to support local businesses.

Boyer has named Richard Dennis, a Canadian with more than 20 years of experience in the Microsoft consulting world, president of Boyer Technologies Canada. 

"Expanding into Canada is a significant milestone for Boyer," said CEO Lee Witkop. "We are thrilled to have Richard Dennis lead this new endeavor. His leadership and experience will ensure that our Canadian clients receive the same high-quality support and innovation that Boyer is known for."

With this Canadian expansion, Boyer aims to support more small and midsize businesses in North America looking to upgrade their technology and work more efficiently.

Founded in 1994 in Minneapolis, Boyer has worked with Microsoft for 30 years. The company started out helping businesses with Microsoft’s financial software and has since grown to offer CRM, AI, and other tools through Microsoft’s platform. 

Boyer now serves more than 550 companies in the U.S. in a variety of industries, including professional services, agriculture, manufacturing, and nonprofits. Boyer helps companies use Microsoft business applications, and this move shows its commitment to serving clients across North America, according to the company.

With a background in business transformation and strategic planning, Dennis aims to help Canadian businesses find the right technology to work smarter.
