Microsoft has partnered with Tradeshift, a cloud-based business-to-business network that connects buyers and suppliers, to give customers of Dynamics NAV 2016 a pre-built integration to the Tradeshift e-invoicing solution.

The integration with Tradeshift sends invoices electronically from Dynamics NAV 2016 via the Tradeshift platform, according to Christian Lanng, CEO, Chairman at Tradeshift. It is one of the first examples in NAV 2016 of how to utilize the new e-service approach to automating processes like invoicing and exchange rate capture. Other solution providers will be able to use a similar approach to creating solutions that interface with cloud-based solutions via web services.

The visibility that Tradeshift provides into the invoice approval process will reduce exceptions and resolve discrepancies in real time, according to the company. And we're really excited that Microsoft also realized that we are a growing force."

Tradeshift has been working with Microsoft on this for a while, Lanng says. Microsoft initially approached the company and expressed an interest in the Tradeshift solution.

"We wanted to do something that is much, much easier than anything that there is today," he says. "...
