Summit EMEA Preview: Microsoft's Dilip Popat looks ahead to strong customer success options

Dilip PopatDilip Popat, Microsoft EMEA Customer Success Director, based in the UK, will be focused on growing the Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM businesses at Summit EMEA this year, April 24 to 26 in Dublin. Popat says Microsoft is building on what it began last year.

"We had one session last year that was well received and we are following up this year with two," he says. The first one, on Tuesday, Popat is leading himself. The session, titled Microsoft Customer Success Delivering Business Value for Customers is focused on how the Customer Success Organization is working with customers who are deploying Dynamics 365 "so they can realize its full value."

"We discuss how to get to that value realization, not just focusing on deployment but how to get to the transformation the customer is trying to achieve and getting value from that investment," says Popat.

In that session, Popat will be joined by three customers: an insurance company in the UK, a construction firm, and a UK public transport operator.  Each of the organizations is an existing Dynamics customer that Microsoft has been working with for some time. "That will emerge through a Q&A panel where they will talk about their journey, what they were trying to do and what value they have received from the process of working with us," says Popat.
