Spring 2018: Count on some new and useful Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations capabilities

The next version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition, known also as 7.3 and releasing in Spring 2018, is looking to be a feature-rich powerhouse. Improvements cover a broad range of functional areas including reporting, data management and integration, customization frameworks, supply chain collaboration, business process, regulatory compliance, mobility, and retail.

Let's explore some select features expected in the upcoming release.

Completely sealed solution code for overlayering and enhancements possible via an extension approach only. If a partner/customer/advisor discovers a customization that can't be implemented as an extension, one can log a request to Microsoft via LCS using the extension support option.

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Spring 2018

Ability to embed PowerBI and PowerApps directly in forms without writing code using a host control.
  • User should select in form an option to add PowerApps from menu bar.
