Soul Machines announces migration of AI initiatives to Azure

Soul Machines, a New Zealand-based technology company announced that it has signed a five year agreement with Microsoft to support its AI initiatives. As part of the agreement, the company will migrate its workloads to Azure.

Founded in 2016, the company has developed a specialty creating lifelike CGI characters and an autonomous animation platform. The World Health Organization uses the company’s technology for its Florence multilingual healthcare assistant, and Nestle has developed “Ruth” as a digital brand ambassador for Toll House.

This isn’t just an agreement to use Microsoft services – it will be a partnership in every sense of the word. This represents the next phase in Soul Machines’ evolution as a company, which will help us take our AI and innovation to the world at a whole new level,” stated Greg Cross, co-founder and chief business officer at Soul Machines.
