First!  That's what Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner Sikich declared today in an announcement that it has delivered the first NAV 2013 go-live in North America, and the first hosted go-live overall.

SagePath Medical, an early-stage pharmaceutical sales support firm, is the recipient of the inaugural NAV 2013 solution.  The company has unique processes related to its sales and operations teams, customer service commitment, and future inventory warehouse needs for managing and tracking promotional items.  They will also track customer contracts in the NAV chart of accounts and utilize the improved dimensionality of NAV 2013.  The solution will also integrate to SagePath's expense management, CRM, and payroll solutions.

This is sure to be the first of many TAP-related announcements for NAV 2013 in the coming months.  As NAV product manager Jannik Bausager confirmed today at the Decisions Spring 2012 virtual conference, the official product launch is still planned for September or October.  And many partners have reported being well underway with TAP clients.

The solution, a new implementation of Dynamics NAV, was rolled out in less than 12 weeks, according to Sikich.  It is supported by Sikich's own hosted environment, reducing upfront capital investments for the young company.
