Retail Realm Debuts EFT Integration in Mexico for Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail

Retail Realm has teamed up with payment solution provider Mercadotecnia Ideas y Tecnología (MIT) to launch a new electronic funds transfer (EFT) integration for Microsoft Dynamics for Retail in Mexico.

Founded in 2004, MIT is a Mexican company that develops payment models and solutions for specialist sales transaction and financial processing services. MIT has developed a payment gateway to connect businesses in the country with the financial networks that process Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit and debit card payments.

The partnership and product integration with MIT expands Retail Realm's growing number payment gateways, processors and territories around the world, officials of the companies said.

Existing users of Dynamics AX 2012 will be able to connect with MIT via Retail Realm's RR mAX Pay solution, which helps retailers get the most out of their Dynamics AX deployments and extend the solution in retail, grocery and hospitality, said company officials. In the third quarter 2016, the integration will also be available for retailers using the new Microsoft Dynamics AX.

The MIT payment integration is also available out-of-the-box to retailers that use Retail Realm Essentials powered by Microsoft Dynamics, a retail-centric solution based on the Dynamics AX platform as their retail management/POS software.

The real benefit of this integration for the retail merchant is that it enables speedier set-up arrangements for card payment transactions, according to Victor Hugo Martinez Corral from the business development department at MIT. It provides a near plug-and-play Dynamics AX to MIT connector, enabling most businesses to accept card payments from day one of implementation, he said.
