With an endorsement from Microsoft, a Slovakian supplier of advanced developer components and tools for mobile devices, released a developer platform that assists in the development of mobile applications that are used as extensions to Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Resco, based in Bratislava, Slovakia, released Resco MobileCRM Studio, which it said is optimized for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5.

While Microsoft last year introduced its own version of a mobile option that accesses Dynamics CRM 4.0 installed on users' servers, it has indicated it remains committed to encouraging outside development of mobile options. In its press release announcing release of Resco's MobileCRM Studio, Resco included a statement from Brad Wilson, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics CRM: "As the business world is becoming increasingly mobile and needs on-the-go access to customer data, this kind of solution is important right now. MobileCRM Studio gives Microsoft Dynamics CRM customers another great opportunity to develop mobile applications in an efficient way."

Resco said its MobileCRM Studio solution targets Microsoft Dynamics CRM integrators  planning to develop custom Microsoft Dynamics CRM mobile applications. Moreover, re-branding capabilities allow the mobile application to be renamed under the client's company name, while the licensing policy includes the royalty-free distribution of developed mobile applications.

Resco also provides a video preview of the mobile application.
