PrecisionPoint, TARGIT Team Up for BI Analytics and Visualization Offering for Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV

PrecisionPoint and TARGIT have teamed up to offer a BI (business intelligence) solution for the Dynamics AX and NAV markets  utilizes the services and analytics of PrecisionPoint with the user-friendly technology of TARGIT for visualizing data as KPIs, dynamic graphs, and tables, according to company officials.

PrecisionPoint will leverage its managed service and analytics strengths to help users get data out of the Microsoft Dynamics systems. Then the information is presented via easily visualized performance metrics from TARGIT, according to officials.

The TARGIT solution's engine integrates reporting, analytics and dashboards in a single solution, and is designed for access on nearly any device.

"The best data layer engine on the market now powers the optimum visualisation of data in clear dynamic tables, diagrams and graphical gauges," said PrecisionPoint CEO, Michael Evans, in a statement. "TARGIT's solution is an important extension to our growing portfolio of Business Intelligence solutions."

Ulrik Pedersen, COO, TARGIT US Inc., said PrecisionPoint's unique offering, combined with TARGIT gives the users BI that they can easily access and understand.

PrecisionPoint launched its on-premise managed BI service for Microsoft Dynamics AX and NAV last November.

Recently, SICK UK, a producer of sensors and sensor solutions for industrial apps, selected PrecisionPoint's BI software for management and production reporting to enable the business warehouse to be reconciled to the underlying ERP, according to company officials.
