New Microsoft Dynamics Salary Survey Tracks Benefits, Profile, Attitude of Dynamics Professionals

It's that time again. Nigel Frank International, a specialist global Microsoft Dynamics recruitment agency, is conducting its annual survey of Microsoft Dynamics professionals' salaries and is asking for input to paint the most accurate picture of the current salary trends. 

The survey is currently underway:

Last year 5,800 people, mainly from Europe and North America, who either worked, or had worked in the Microsoft Dynamics community responded to the survey, according to the company.

Some of the highlights of the 2009 survey included:

  • The average basic survey in Europe for permanent workers was $61,317 with a 9.3% benefits package
  • The average North American basic salary for permanent workers was $70,448 with a 14.7% benefits package
  • Less than 15% of full-time workers said their salaries had declined in 2009
  • Lack of training was the biggest cause of dissatisfaction among permanent employees
  • Thirty-five percent of respondents said they didn't expect to be with their current employer in 12 months.

For contractors/freelancers:

  • The average daily rate in Europe was $677
  • The average North American daily rate was $625
  • Twenty-two percent of respondents said their daily rates had declined in 2009

According to the survey 79% of respondents were employed on a permanent/full-time basis and 2% were employed on a permanent/part-time basis. In addition, approximately 17% of respondents worked on either a contract or freelance basis and only 2% were unemployed or not working.
