NAVUG Summit 2016 Preview: Preparing As a Community for NAV 2017 and The Larger Dynamics Vision

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV team has had a long and close relationship with NAVUG in helping to develop content for NAVUG Summit. At Summit 2016, taking place in Tampa from October 11 to 14, Microsoft representatives will be even more involved than in past years to help deliver not only Microsoft Dynamics NAV-specific presentations, but guidance on what users can expect from Microsoft's larger business solutions vision - including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other new and rapidly evolving cloud offerings.

Dynamics SMB senior product marketing manager Anantha Ramachandran is leading the Microsoft team's involvement with NAVUG Summit 2016. He has been with Microsoft just under three years but already describes Summit as one of his favorite events and a mainstay of the Dynamics event schedule. He took some time to speak with MSDynamicsWorld about the upcoming event and how not only product news, but the dynamics of the Dynamics SMB community will continue to impact Dynamics NAV's success as customers, VARs, and ISVs work to understand and plan for the future.

MSDW: How have you been involved in working with NAVUG to plan this year's Summit event?

Anantha Ramachandran: UG Summit is one of my favorite events. I love connecting with customers there. Microsoft has always appreciated and supported the user groups and we are officially expanding our collaboration at Summit this year with plans to enhance Microsoft's presence during the event.
