Microsoft’s PR Firm Selects Microsoft Dynamics AX and Systems Advisors Group

Public relations firm Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, which counts Microsoft Corp as a client, is putting its money where its mouth is.

After years of touting Microsoft's Dynamics products, Waggener Edstrom has turned to Systems Advisors Group to deploy Microsoft Dynamics AX as its new ERP platform. Waggener has 16 offices around the world, and its Global Alliance Network expands the agency's reach to more than 80 additional international markets.

Systems Advisors Group will work with Waggener to replace several disparate software systems with one global business application. By consolidating all of its worldwide operations onto a single Dynamics AX platform, Waggener hopes to improve its visibility across its global enterprise, as well as streamline many of its core project accounting and financial management processes.

"With our continued growth and an expanding global footprint, it became critical that we implement a global enterprise software platform to better support our evolving business model," said Joe Karceski, Waggener's vice president, worldwide controller, in a statement.

Karceski said Waggener selected Dynamics AX because it was a robust, yet flexible solution that would directly address the organization's business requirements in a single system.

The only question left: who wrote their press release? An ugly typo early on suggests System Advisors Group may not have partnered with Waggener on this bit of PR.
