Configure authentication with security agent in Power Pages

On the Inogic blog, Sam Kumar wrote that as part of its 2026 Release Wave 1, Microsoft introduced the security agent in Power Pages to help developers build more secure websites with AI-powered guidance.

He stated that one of its main features is helping users set up authentication, making it easier to create secure sign-in experiences that follow Microsoft's recommended security practices.

Kumar noted that authentication, which verifies a user's identity before allowing access, is one of the most important parts of website security. But setting it up correctly can be complicated and take time.

The security agent helps by providing recommendations, reviewing existing authentication settings, and suggesting security improvements, according to Kumar. This allows developers to strengthen website security without having to manually review every configuration setting.

Kumar then took a closer look at how the security agent works, its main features, and how it simplifies authentication setup in Power Pages websites.

Building a secure Power Platform architecture with managed identity & virtual network

Writing on his blog, Allan De Castro stated that when Dynamics 365 or Power Platform applications need to connect to other systems, such as Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, external APIs, legacy applications, or Azure Key Vault, there are two main security concerns: how the application proves its identity and how the data travels between systems.
