Microsoft has a new plan and SKU for managing Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP data storage

Microsoft grants all Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS customer 80 GB of database storage. Those that need more can now purchase it via a new add-on SKU, explained Microsoft Technical Fellow and CTO of D365 Operations Applications Mike Ehrenberg in a new blog post.

But Microsoft also has plans to minimize the number of customers that will need to purchase the storage add-on for their SaaS ERP deployments. Ehrenberg explained that some of those plans tie back to an early ideal of SaaS multi-tenant enterprise software: the vendor's ability to observe and optimize tenants based on real world usage at scale.
