Microsoft enriches Fabric’s analytical AI story with new Graphs and Maps capabilities

Microsoft now has over 25,000 customers of Fabric, up from 19,000 in March 2025. At the start of this week’s European Microsoft Fabric Community Conference in Vienna, the company also introduced new capabilities designed to strengthen the SaaS data platform's AI story along with a range of roadmap updates. 

Graphs and Maps will further Fabric’s ability to deliver data to be consumed in AI scenarios, wrote Jessica Hawk, Corporate Vice President, Data, AI, and Digital Applications. Hawk described Graphs and its capabilities as follows:
