Zap Business Intelligence 2011 for Microsoft Dynamics Released

Zap has released Zap Business Intelligence 2011, the next generation of its web-based business intelligence (BI) software for Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV and CRM.

Major enhancements to the product include new and improved data visualization and analysis capabilities, enhanced SharePoint support, multi-browser support, and mobile BI for iPad users. Updates have also been made to Zap CubeXpress, including support for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. The Zap CubeXpress productivity tool makes it easier to create a SQL Server data warehouse and Analysis Services cube for a SQL Server or Microsoft Dynamics AX, NAV or CRM data source, according to company officials.

Zap Business Intelligence 2011 can be used with many different data sources, but Zap offers out-of-the-box Microsoft Dynamics BI solutions for AX, NAV and CRM with additional packaged capabilities, according to officials.

Accellos to Debut Its Next Generation Supply Chain Execution Suite

Accellos Inc., a provider of supply chain execution software solutions, will launch its latest solutions for Microsoft Dynamics at Convergence 2011.

"We continue to focus our product development around enhancing the supply chain capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics suite of ERP solutions. Our goal has always been to offer the Dynamics user a unified environment covering a broad set of solutions, including things like EDI, Warehouse Management, Shipping, Dashboards, Document Imaging, Appointment Scheduling and much more," said Ross Elliott, Accellos' CTO, in a statement.

Accellos will showcase its most recent product release, Accellos One Pinpoint, at Convergence.
