Data Masons Software Launches Vantage Point EDI 2012

Data Masons Software LLC., a provider of integrated EDI and commerce solutions for Microsoft Dynamics customers, has launched Vantage Point EDI 2012.

Vantage Point EDI 2012 offers a new, optimized user interface (UI) aimed at improving the solution's appearance (the look and feel of Microsoft Office 2010), making it easier to use, and standardizing on current Microsoft technologies.

Dynamics West Announces New Cost Repair Module for Dynamics NAV

 

Dynamics West has developed a proprietary procedure that permanently fixes Dynamics NAV costing errors while still retaining all your Item numbers and full history. The solution works with Dynamics NAV 5.1 or above.

The problem, the company explains, is that older versions of Dynamics NAV have under certain conditions exhibited cost calculations that are incorrect. For instance, an Inventory Item with a zero quantity on hand would have a non‐zero value. In some cased, the adjust costs process posted unusually large rounding entries. This resulted in an unreliable cost and value for inventory, officials said.

Some companies would have to use a manual costing process to get the correct calculations - something that made upgrading difficult. ...
