Microsoft Dynamics Partner Roundup: New acquisitions; AX 2012 go-live; AX 2012 R3 compatibility

Fine Solutions Acquires Computeration

Microsoft partner Fine Solutions has acquired Computeration and will absorb Computeration and its expertise in Dynamics GP service, support, implementation, and training to create a regional focus that includes clients from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and California.

Computeration changed its name to Fine Solutions the first of April 2014. Dan Fine, Managing Partner of Fine Solutions, will remain Managing Partner. Gloria Braunschweig, former CEO of Computeration, will retire to focus on her Rapid Implementation blog sites and book, refocusing them to lean implementation.

"It's a big step into the future for Fine Solutions - a win-win for employees, clients and Microsoft. Bringing these great teams together will accelerate Fine's share of Dynamics clients in the Northwest, and strengthen the overall opportunities for both Microsoft and our partners," said Dan Fine, Fine Solution's Managing Partner, in a statement.

"I'm excited to entrust my clients and employees to a regional firm with a reputation for great service and plans for growth," said Gloria Braunschweig, CEO of Computeration, in the statement.

The acquisition increases resources and accelerates Fine Solutions' go-to-market strategies focusing on services and integrations around Dynamics GP, such as Dynamics CRM, Management Reporter, and SQL Server Reporting Services, according to company officials.
