Approval user setup 

Writing on his blog on the Dynamics 365 Community Blog, Jun Wang wrote about Business Central's approval workflow framework for handling, which ensures that any transaction that needs a sign-off is reviewed and approved by the right person.  

He wrote that a key part of setting this up is the approval user setup page. This page is where roles and limits are defined for each user who takes part in the approval process.  

Wang explained that the approval user setup page in D365BC is the place where you assign approval duties to people in your organization. It’s used to define who is allowed to approve certain transactions, such as sales orders, purchase orders, or other important requests, he noted.   

Wang added that you can also set approval limits for each person and assign substitutes on this page. This means that if the main approver is out of the office, another person can step in and keep the process moving without delays.

Monitoring job queues: Setting up failure notifications within Business Central 

On the CloudFronts blog, Rahul Bansode wrote that a job queue is a way to set up and run background tasks automatically in D365BC. Bansode noted that in the past there was a big problem: if a job queue failed, there was no warning. You'd only find out when a regular task didn’t run for a few days.
