Maxima Holdings plc, an IT business systems and managed services company has been awarded major contracts by Hill & Smith Ltd and SPI npower. ?

The contracts are to develop and implement next generation business management systems based on Maxima''s MAXcel business applications suite, which is built on top of Microsoft Dynamics AX to reduce the costs, complexity and risks associated with major enterprise software projects.

Hill & Smith will migrate their existing ERP system to Maxima's MAXcel solution to support their construction supply chain and contract manufacturing requirements, according to officials.  The SPI npower energy services business has selected MAXcel's ERP solution for financial reporting and contract management support.

Business IT Professionals (Biz IT Pro), a Microsoft Gold Certified CRM consulting and training firm, said it has developed a line of training courses for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 that goes beyond the basic requirements of the Microsoft Official Curriculum. The company said its courses allow CRM 4.0 users and technical professionals effectively use and become certified in the software while preparing for the upcoming CRM 2011.
ADA has been selected to implement a 10 user on-premise Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 solution at Sirius Analytical. The Dynamics CRM implementation replaces Sirius Analytical's legacy Goldmine CRM platform, which could not handle the company's business requirements.

After researching the market, Sirius Analytical drew up a shortlist of competing CRM solutions including products from Microsoft and Salesforce.com. After testing ADA's Dynamics CRM Professional solution, Sirius Analytical determined that it offered all the functions it needed to meet its day-to-day challenges concerning account/service management, marketing and sales, officials said.
