MVP Systems Software Adds New Microsoft Dynamics AX Adaptor to JAMS Job Scheduler

MVP Systems Software Inc., a provider of enterprise job scheduling and workload automation software, has added a Microsoft Dynamics Adaptor to JAMS Job Scheduler 5.4. The JAMS Adaptor for MS Dynamics allows JAMS to integrate with Dynamics AX through the AX Business Connector.

JAMS Job Scheduler offers users enterprise-level control, oversight and reporting for batch job scheduling, company officials said. Using the JAMS automation framework, JAMS users can create intelligent workflows to combine Dynamics AX jobs with business processes in other apps and platforms. JAMS enables scheduled as well as ad hoc Dynamics AX jobs to be executed in a reliable and timely fashion.

The JAMS and Dynamics AX integration streamlines IT operations and improves business operations, officials said. The parameter handling features in JAMS are available to all batch jobs and user jobs. JAMS captures a complete profile of each job it runs and incorporates Dynamics AX Infolog information, according to officials. This consolidated log, allows JAMS to simplify managing, auditing and reporting on an organization's IT operations.
