To-Increase Announces Its New Vertical Food Solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX

To-Increase has launched a new vertical food solution for Microsoft Dynamics AX. Food industry expert, Gilbert Garcia, has been named the director for this new product.

To-Increase, which plans a soft-launch at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2011, will release the solution later in the year.

"The ISV solution for the food industry will allow us to sell to upper mid-markets as well as to tier one companies with headquarters and subsidiaries," Garcia said in a statement. "By adding deeper functionality, we can narrow the gap to deliver much richer functionality out-of-the-box, reducing the need for customization and decreasing the lower cost of ownership for the customer."

According to the company, the new solution fills a need for a food industry entry in the Microsoft Dynamics AX portfolio for process manufacturing. The initial release will deliver improved functions in several key food sub-verticals, including protein(s), dairy, snacks and bakery and a variety of beverage sectors. Potential features include: Fast path order entry, template orders, route orders, nutritional analysis, trade spending, potency (dairy accounting), batch balancing, sequencing, and international compliance capabilities.

Garcia said the company's goal is to build on top of the Microsoft Dynamics AX process manufacturing solution to deliver deeper functionality into the variety of food verticals.

"We have all the elements to succeed, the industry knowledge and experience, the budget, the To-Increase partner network, and backing from Microsoft," he said.
