SAGlobal, PVBS Partner to Take Dynamics AX to Gov't Contractors

SAGlobal has inked a deal with Pleasant Valley Business Solutions (PVBS) to promote Microsoft Dynamics AX to the government contractor market. The companies will begin working together immediately to market and implement their joint solution to help professional services organizations and other commercial entities that serve the federal government meet their Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements

"The government contractor market is a significant opportunity for SAGlobal and Microsoft Dynamics AX, and based on our long history of providing Dynamics AX solutions to professional services firms, is a natural extension of our industry strategy," said Rita Clinton, US Country Manager for SAGlobal, in a statement.

Clinton said although the market has been largely dominated by Deltek, SAGlobal and PVBS are offering government contractors a solution that provides a strong base of functionality for government contractors, and also works like and works with their existing Microsoft investments.

PVBS CEO Bernard Mustafa said the Dynamics AX project accounting solution will ensure that companies that do business with the government have what they need to allocate indirect costs, account for subcontractor labor, budget and forecast projects, and provide the project and financial reporting larger government contractors need.
