Guidelines to set up mandatory sick time/paid leave in Microsoft Dynamics GP

On the Dynamics GP Support and Services blog, Terry Heley wrote that in the past few years, many states have required companies to offer employees paid sick leave or mandatory time off.

Heley stated that when you set up a sick leave policy, salaried employees usually get a fixed amount of leave, while hourly employees earn leave based on the number of hours they work.

She noted that the best way to manage this in Dynamics GP is through the human resources attendance feature because it gives you the most flexibility for tracking and adjusting leave accruals.

In her blog post, Heley offered a guide to get you started setting it up.
