According to a roadmap update, Microsoft plans to release Dynamics GP 2015 in November or December 2014. GP 2013 R2 is due by July.

Microsoft Dynamics GP roadmap 2014Noting a "strong first half of our fiscal year" for Dynamics GP, product manager Pam Misialek offered an updated product roadmap and plans for readiness and channel support.

The roadmap doesn't deviate much from the plans that the Dynamics GP team has been communicating in recent months, including its current "GP Now & Next Tour" for partners. The same ‘big rocks' are there for GP 2013 R2. GP 2015 will include second versions of the upcoming identity management capabilities and workflow engine. A GP 2015 development preview will be available by July according to a 2014 calendar of milestones and events for GP.

Beyond the current roadshow, Convergence and the partner pre-day will be the next update point for the Dynamics GP community. That will be followed with a schedule of important software releases that will firm up the six month cadence.

Also of interest in Misialek's post is the mention of a new US-based SMB team that "will be dedicated to Dynamics GP and NAV." The focus, she writes, will be to "help bring [partners and ISVs] new ways to sell more."
