Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 a Win for Partners, Users, Decisions Audience Told

One of the key capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013, which ships later this year, is that it enables a 100% web client interaction with the solution.  And that means users can access the full Dynamics GP suite of information using a browser, Errol Schoenfish, Director of Product Management, told a live audience at MSDynamicsworld.com's recent Decisions Spring 2012 GP Day, which is available now on demand.

The "GP in a browser" idea may not just be a nice way to modernize GP's look and feel: the update technology in GP 2013 could offer the biggest wins for Dynamics GP hosting partners.

"It's exciting for customers and prospects because it gives them the ability to remove things like terminal services in Citrix and that overhead that organizations currently use in order to give access to information to people outside of the four walls of the corporate office," he said. "It also allows for partners around private cloud scenarios and reduces the overhead that's required for private cloud scenarios."
