According to Microsoft Dynamics GP senior product manager Pam Misialek, Phase 2 of the Dynamics GP 2013 web client is on track for a March or April release.  She reports in a new blog post that "[t]he next phase of the web client will include Human Resources and Payroll as a functional series and is planned for the March/April timeframe.  There will be other functionality that gets enabled.  We will share that list at a future date."

Rolling out the new web client for Dynamics GP 2013 has never been expected to be a quick process.  As Errol Schoenfish, the Dynamics GP director of product management, explained in an October 2012 interview:

"With many thousands of forms, there's simply a volume of testing that has to be done. We have had really good results so far but can't release things before their tested.  We are estimating 3 to 6 months [between phases], but we'll know the timing of the phases more after we get past the first one."

The plan, as described in late 2012, is to have five phases to get the rest of the planned features into the Dynamics GP web client. The upcoming phases are expected to be:

  • Phase 2 US Payroll, Human Resources
  • Phase 3 Project Accounting
  • Phase 4 Field Service
  • Phase 5 Manufacturing
