Yammer Integration Improvements Require Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 On-Premises Updates

Jarrod Williams of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Support Team explains that Yammer made some improvements to its JavaScript API and embedded feeds. So to keep up with these changes, the Dynamics CRM team updated the Yammer integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

That means if you want use the Yammer integration you have to apply the latest updates to your on-premises environment. Williams says after the Yammer updates are complete, any on-premises CRM organizations that don't update their CRM systems will no longer be able to use the Yammer integration.

You can read the blog to get the answers to these questions:

  • When will Yammer make the changes to its Java script API & Embed feeds?
  • What happens to my Yammer integration if I do not apply the latest updates?
  • How can I get the latest updates?
