Microsoft, Dynamics AX partners launching GovCon Alliance with new compliant offerings for government contractors

Microsoft and a select group of Dynamics AX partners are launching a new push into the US-based government contracting industry with the Microsoft GovCon Alliance.

Microsoft has brought together at least fourteen partners including To-Increase, Pleasant Valley Business Solutions (PVBS), Cincom, Tribridge, SAGlobal, McGladrey, SBS Group, Western Computer, InfoStrat, and Hitachi. Alliance members will be offering up new Dynamics AX-based solutions and service offerings tailored to meet Defense Contract Auditing Agency (DCAA) and other regulatory compliance needs of government contractors in three primary industries - construction, manufacturing, and professional services.

To-Increase, for example, is launching a new AX 2012 R3-based compliance solution for project-centric firms that need to adhere to government contracting regulatory compliance rules. Their solution will include an HTML5-based app and will add features around cost allocations and budgeting for projects and will help maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks including:

  • Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR)
  • Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
  • Defense Contract Auditing Agency (DCAA)
  • Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
