Dynamics AX for the Musophobic

On his A Tinkerers Notebook, Murray Fife ponders the Dynamics AX community's abnormal fear of the mouse, or musophobia. But it is not the traditional version of the phobia, mind you.

"It is commonly accompanied by a severe case of Clickarexia, the unnatural avoidance of mouse button clicks, and reaching a goal of 0 clicks each day," he writes.

To those of you afflicted with this disorder, Fife says not to worry because now you can do almost everything that you need to do in Dynamics AX without taking your fingers off the keyboard.

An Introduction to Self Service Portals within Dynamics AX 2012

Elsewhere, Fife explores the value of self-service portals in Dynamics AX to help you better collaborate with vendors or assist customers in answering the administration questions they'd normally ask a customer service reps.

Fife says these self-service portals are even more appealing because they're free and they're included in the base software install kit for Dynamics AX. All you have to do is install them and you're on your way.
