Sorting views by parent entity attributes in Dynamics 365

On the Magnetism Solutions Dynamics CRM Blog, David Mochrie stated that sometimes Microsoft releases a new feature for Microsoft Dynamics 365 with little or no fanfare.

Sometimes when he comes across these new features, Mochrie stated that he often wonders if the feature had been included from the beginning and he just missed it. Consequently, he often has to look back at older versions of Dynamics CRM to reassure himself that it is, in fact, a new feature.

Mochrie stated that this happened recently when he discovered that you can now sort a view by a parent entity column. He stated that you've always been able to add parent entity attributes to views.

Can't associate existing contacts to an account in D365 UCI?

On The Dynamics Evolution blog, Chris Huntingford stated that recently he was doing some configuration in Dynamics 365 for a customer who wanted to use the UCI (Unified Client Interface). While he was familiar with UCI, it was the first time he had used it for a live environment.
