Microsoft has made Dynamics 365 for Operations (AX7) available to run from Canadian Azure data centers.

The move follows the opening of the Toronto and Quebec City Azure data centers in May of 2016, which opened up opportunity to deliver Office 365 and Dynamics CRM Online (now Dynamics 365's customer engagement apps) within the country.

"Dynamics 365 for Operations joins Azure and Office 365 in providing Canadian organizations and partners with the most complete cloud, featuring the same industry-leading levels of security, privacy, control, compliance, and transparency that define the trusted Microsoft Cloud globally," wrote Microsoft senior product marketing manager Winston Hait.

Microsoft built its Canadian data center (aka ‘datacentre') presence in response to regulatory demands within the country including local residency for many public sector customers.
