Removing a module from standard acceptance test environments in Dynamics Finance and Operations

On the Mohsin Khalid Dynamics 365 Blog, Khalid pointed out that there's a lot of information online about how to uninstall or remove a package from the standard acceptance test Tier 2 environments.

In his blog post, Khalid decided to write about the things that haven't been mentioned – things he learned after going through the process with Microsoft's operations team.

Problem: When you upload a deployable package LCS gives out a generic error saying: "Unknown error occurred during package deployment. Please try again later. If the issue persists, contact support."

You can find out the reason for the error here.

How to integrate D365FO with Microsoft Flow using the new business events

On Sertan's dev.blog on Dynamics AX, Tayfun Sertan Yaman stated that the new business events functionality in D365FO finally enables integration directly with workflow-based cloud development tools, such as the Flow and Logic Apps.

In his blogs post, Yaman explained how to create a new D365FO business event and use it directly from a Microsoft Flow using the new D365FO "when a business event occurs" trigger.

First Yaman explains how to enable business events in D365FO.

The Business Events parameters should be available as a separate tab in System administration>Setup>System parameters form. If you cannot see it there, it is because the feature is currently in preview mode, and you need to do some magic to make it visible.

You can learn that trick and how to integrate D365FO with Flow using the new business events here.
